Applied Materials raises fiscal 2010 revenue outlook, cites rising demand across businesses

NEW YORK – Chip manufacturing equipment maker Applied Materials Inc. raised its fiscal 2010 revenue forecast by 10 percent Tuesday, saying it now expects revenue to rise 60 percent in fiscal 2010.
