They are proven liars. McCain is running the sleaziest campaign in history. They don’t care about the truth.
Republican and long time McCain friend, Alan Greenspan, even went as far as to call McCains economic plan “IRRESPONSIBLE”. I imagine most thoughtful Republicans will be voting for Obama or sitting this one out to work on reforming their own party. The rest will work to get the guy in the red tie into office, no matter what he stands for.

Democrats have been in charge of Congress. They are the ones who add tons and tons of spending to the budget. As long as they are in power the deficit will be huge.

No worries. No one supporting McCain will answer this question without invoking the name of Obama and his “socialist” vision.
Then they’ll blame it on the Democratic Congress that has held power since 2006. (completely disregarding the Republican white house AND congress that ruled from 2000 to 2006.)
There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY in the Republican party any more. It’s shameful.

lets be real here only reason why Clinton can be used as an example (which he has to be) is due to welfare reform that the Dems hated to begin with.

Because a lot of Republicans are wealthy and are used to spending like mad and letting the little guy pick up the tab. In America, if your income exceeds $102,000 you don’t pay Social Security tax above that. They are gluttons (pigs for those who don’t know what a glutton is).

Where did you get they are the party of fiscal responsiblity? That is the Democrats. The Republicans are the party of no taxes on the rich. It is thier trickle down economics platform.
McCain believes in trickle down economics. Lower taxes on the rich in hopes that the rich will want to start businesses that create jobs. Same as Bush.
