MERRIMACK – Town officials painted a grim financial picture Thursday as the current fiscal year comes to a close. Due to belt-tightening in the state and lower-than-projected local incomes, the town may be more than $400,000 in the hole as it enters the 2009-10 fiscal year, which starts July 1.
