Hospital district can change fiscal year

In a surprising turn of events, Muleshoe Area Hospital District CEO Jason Anglin announced this week that Medicare has approved the district’s request to change its fiscal year.If this occurred, Medicare wouldn’t have reimbursed the district’s patients in the unit until the beginning of the next fiscal year, in October 2010.As reported in the Sept.
